NSW: Second youth arrested - then released - over Auburn bashing

A second Sydney youth has been arrested .. and then released .. after the bashing of
a Sudanese refugee .. who remains on life support in Sydney's Westmead Hospital.

Police say a 15-year-old boy's been arrested after officers searched a home at Auburn
about 9 pm (AEDT) yesterday .. taking a number of items for forensic examination.

He's been interviewed at Auburn police station .. and police say he's still of interest
in the inquiry .. but has been released pending further inquiries.





The 28-year-old Granville father of four suffered critical head injuries .. after being
bashed by a group of people in Auburn .. late on Tuesday night.

A 17-year-old male youth from North Parramatta has been charged over the attack ..

he's been bailed to reappear in Lidcombe Children's Court on March 15.
